A downloadable game for Windows

Game Play

Vertigo is generally described as a 6DoF (Degrees of Freedom) first person shooter. Meaning players can move in any direction and rotate along any axis, without being affected by gravity. Only a few games of this type have ever been created, namely Forsaken and the Descent series.

Development

The code base including graphics is powered by Unity. Currently the game is under development and your game progress is tracked by secure Unity Services.

It has been fully ported to run on cross platform technologies and currently officially supports Linux, MacOSX and Windows.

We are also working to replace the original data pack with new textures, sounds and other assets.

Level Editor and Modeling Tools

We use Blender, an open-source 3d modeling application for our 3D assets

Most of our sound and audio files are procedurally generated.

When your download completes, open the .exe file and the installation process begins. When the installation completes you should be able to play the game via a desktop shortcut or searching 'Vertigo' from the start panel.

Mac (Universal) Unavailable sorry :(

When your download completes, Extract the .zip archive where you should find the game application inside. If your having problems extracting the .zip archive I suggest you install a zip extractor (e.g. http://goo.gl/zZbfRl) and try again. Once you've extracted the .zip, you should be able to play the game just by clicking the application.
